You are quite helpful, but I also notice in songs (japanese rock music) I hear "wo" sounding particles a lot. I looked up the lyrics and found the 'wo' sound is the を character. So is pronunciation ultimately up to choice? or simply different from speaking, when singing?

I actually asked my Sensei about the difference between saying 'o' or 'wo' because she always taught us that yea it's read wo, but say 'o' instead when I was in first year. But when I met a japanese student teacher, when she tell me to write particle 'o' she said 'wo'. Hence me asking my teacher why we never said 'wo' but only 'o' she never knew why she didn't think that in the first place

What a coincidence because Since Yesterday and today I was trying to figure out the difference:) My Hero ;)
