  • @blueeyes1991 If you destroy the comm equipment first, so that all your in-spaceport objectives are completed and you're supposed to be running to Beta (the trigger for the first wave of choppers), the light-guard 'mechs suddenly stop responding to their destruction, and you can knock them all out without any of them powering up.

  • @blueeyes1991 Yeah, but the Fafnir's no faster than an Atlas...

  • When i've done this mission last time, i killed all shutdown mechs by shooting their legs off. They don't wake up that way. If you shy using that obvious bug - shoot any of the mechs at torso and try to deal with them in *fair* combat. Anyway you'll have better chances than to try and protect that puny buggy from a horde of crazy-fast light mechs later on.

  • @c182SkylaneRG I'd say that they proved too slow, it's best to use fast assult mechs in order to catch the light mechs attacking the spy's car.

  • @blueeyes1991 Well I tend to use ballistic weapons a lot so wasting ammo on that for me is a no no.

  • @HachiZenki You can remove the shut down mechs arms and cripple one of their legs with out waking them up. Just don't destroy any or they will wake up. I always cripple their legs when doing this mission.

  • Just run into the choppers.

  • So what was wrong with your Daishi and Atlas? Your tech video left off with those two in your lance, with your Fafnir and Mad Cat Mark II, but the mission launched with your Templar and Victor in their place.

  • Yeah the key in the beginning is to search out the turret control towers first and take them out then take out the helicopters on the ground. Also DO NOT destroy any of the shut down mechs because if you do they 'suddenly' come to life and you get swarmed.

  • I remember ths mission being a pain Q_Q
