I've put together a few highlights from Myrna Loy's hilarious performance as the man-crazy Countess Valentine in "Love Me Tonight." It might have been a supporting role, but she had all the best lines!

This was the first time she really got to be funny, and the "could you go for a doctor?" bit is so classic.

  • I just saw this film and I must say Myrna was super funny! Robert Osbourne even commented on her "can you go get a doctor" line lol :) Thanks for putting this together~

  • @FlaxenHairedBeauty Isn't she the best? It's hard to believe she only has these few scenes, she's so memorable!

  • Absolutely DELIGHTFUL!

  • "Oh yes! Schoolboys!" :D

  • I saw this the other day on TCM, and didn't recognize Myrna in the ballroom scene. Fortunately, she was about to break out into starring roles.
