Wife went to the School next to the flats too. She went back the following morning to video it all and the thing I found amazing is that it all fell down without anything landing in the play ground yards away!

Yeh i can imagine, i used to go to the school right next to it. but just imagine what will be there in a few years time, it wont be the sighthill we knew...

grew up in dundasvale court and looked over at those flat's every day, the council tried to offer me a house in 2-4 fountinwell on the top floor in 2001, took townhead insted, filmed it for posterity.

Wife was in 4 Fountainwell Place. 16 up and always remembered loving her stay there. Dont think she would go back to flats again if she had a choice.

My wife was brought up in the flats so she was a bit sentimental. She went back on Sunday afternoon with her sister to get a brick as a souveneer (spelling!)
