it's hard to be a serbian player on this court, being the only basketball team ever to be booed by thousands of neutral fans.

credit to borislav stankovic though, turns out he is a better playwright than i thought, this game has got both victory and drama in it.

@Medabg88 our probably the best center ilgauskas never play for national team too and this year our best forwar kleiza wont probably play because of injury but all other players hopefuly will play in euro because this year we host it and this year it should be very interesting because only two best teams will qualify to olypics from this eurobasket

@brigys we shall see, i cant wait for Euro to start, although duda ivkovic (our coach) has resigned, but we have a lot of good coaches so i dont think that is an excuse. i dont like the idea that most of our nba players play (actually nobody here does, we had some bad expiriances), most of them just dont have proper respect for national team (hats down for those who do, like peja and krstic for example) but also for ex. radmanovic and jaric are just a bunch of snobs who think they are god given.

@Medabg88 and i think you would have the best team ever if u had in your team not only best players like Darko Milicic, Nenad Krstic, Vladimir Radmanovic, Peja Stojakovic, Aleksandar Pavlovic but also a present stars from other former yugoslavian countries like Beno Udrih, Sasha Vujacic, Goran Dragic, Nikola Pekovic... but thats only my mind im not sure if im right

@Medabg88 last year was like an experiment what we could do with young fast-game mindet players (without our old school star players) and the result was beaten spain, smashed agentina and only one lose against usa, lucky turks didnt played with us in the championship but they lost agains us in a friendly game before championship. so i think that now we are stronger than ever

@Medabg88 actualy i dont think that 1995 team was better than present, ofcourse center like sabonis and guard like marciulionis would fit to our present team perfectly in starting positions but i dont think that another players was any better than we have now. the bigest diference between past and present is that now (from last year) we play fast and agresive.

@brigys ... pretty good team, it will be interesting, its even possible that will be the final. but, and i think youll agree with me on this one, the fact is both yugo and lithua teams in '90 were much better that these we have now, with all due respect to these young and talented guys who have already proven themselves to be honest...

@brigys i agree with most of what you wrote, i think no doubt yugo was pest in europe, with lithua comfortable on second also. i just cant get over with the fact that great yugo team (the whole one with serbs, croats, and the rest) didnt get a chance to play against the real dream team with jordan. so help me god, that would have been the greatest game in the history of the game. as of lithua now, i think they will play even better basketball than in world championship, but also serbia have...
