The funny, touching and very short love story between a boy and his car. The car that took him 3000 miles across country in search of his dreams. The Saab that broke down, ran down and shut down but never let him down.

  • So why does it have Connecticut plates on it if you were from Vermont?

  • I am not from Vermont - the Saab was purchased in Shaftsbury, Vermont but registered in Connecticut.

  • So, you never do any maintenance and complain that the car is "falling apart"? Sense. That makes none.

  • @AeroGuy07 - Hey nit wit...no where in this video is there any complaining...more like amazement and disbelief that the Saab keeps going in light of the fact that nothing is done it. Do us all a favor and get back in bland, GM era watered down excuse for a Saab and don't quit your day job to become a video critic on YouTube!!

  • same story...only a 86 porsche 944 turbo i bought back when i was a private in the army.....now im a sgt going to school to become a LT...but same story

  • hay buddy, First off all thanks for this video. I own a 05 Saab 95t. When i first bought this car i was kind of confident and kind of confuse because this kind of cars are really expensive and i hear a lots of gud bad rumors abt this car. Any way i put more than 3000 miles, i never had any trouble and it still goes smooth. I found some videos in you tube about saab cars that runs more than 1 million miles and still running. so i hope you still have a gud car it still running rit.

  • @marczoom OK

  • The reverse fix is just a bandage. The reverse idler gear teeth are normally broken by the time it gets like this, so it's best to just get a replacement transmission from the boneyard, and buy one of the steel rear covers to stiffen up the gearbox for longer life the second time around.

  • the clicking might be a sort of relay or something

  • How to fix your reverse.Take the side cover off the transmission on the passengers side. There is a little lever that actuates the reverse slider gear. This lever has a

bolt hole that gets elongated.Call Eriksson industries at 1-800-388-4418 and

get the modified lever(actually do this step first)If you haven't totally destroyed your reverse gear this fix works.About a 1 hour job.
