This video shows how to make juice with the Green Star Juicer. You can use any fruits or veggies that you like in your recipe. This just happens to be a recipe that we like.
Cheers!

  • Hi. The reason this Green Star Juicer is better than the spinning kind is because the spinning kind heats up and that kills the natural enzymes. You still get the antioxidants and vitamins in the spinning kind but if you read up on the enzymes you will see that that having the enzymes unspoiled gives you the best health benefit. The clean up is easier than the Jack Lalanne juicer we had before. It takes about 10 to 12 minutes to clean.

  • You are a cutie. ; )

  • hey there juicy lucy, if you cut yer carrots in half lengthwise they juice much easier. i love my greenstar! also, i would (and others) recommend alternating fruits and /or veg to help keep the screen clean. and finally, a finger dab of food oil,(coconut, castor, or other stable oil) on the drive shaft around the rubber ring will help stop the loud squeaks. i dab it on after cleaning and the before use. it will also prolong the life of the seals, by keeping them moist.

  • @IamMelissao I just got the Omega 8006 a few days ago & I'm glad to say that I'm very happy with it. I get a lot more juice with this machine. The only complaint I have is that it takes longer to put the produce in to the machine. It's a complaint I can live with.

  • @contactlauralynn I had the Jack LaLanne juicer also. Wasn't it a pain to clean that screen???? I just bought the Omega 8006 juicer. I wanted a juicer that was good at juicing greens & trying to juice greens with Jacks's juicer was a joke. All I would get was wet pulp. Glad to say that I'm happy with the Omega.

  • @IamMelissao I have the same juicer & I don't like it either. I'm going to replace it with the Omega 8006.

  • You guys make some really great videos, please continue to make them. I've never had any problems with my Green Star juicer from love street living foods and really like this recipe.

  • thats the first juicer i had juice from, it tasted really good.

  • This is a good juicer if you don't mind taking damn near 8 minutes just to make one cup juice (nevermind the prep and clean-up) and putting your whole body into it. I recommend the 800 JEXL by Breville, it's much faster, you get more juice and it doesn't sound like a bunch of mice.

  • You should get some red wiggler worms for composting because they love to eat the juice pulp. You can use the compost for the garden and they eat coffee grains and tea too.

Also recommend adding ginger and sometimes a small garlic bulb for the adventurous.

Collard greens, swiss chard and red bell peppers are healthy, but strong tasting. Damn good for you though!

  • I just bought one. Thank you for posting this. I am about to start a healthy adventure.
