HOw do you describe your sound with out the wah pedal being switched on? what's the nice effect there? Also, do you know what effects and sounds I'd need to get the same guitar sounds used on Rod Stewart's 1975 Atlantic Crossing album? That'd be a great help!

Hi, there is no effect used when the wah is in bypass. It's just my Strat into a Fender Twin. Sorry, I can't help with the Rod question. I don't know that album. G

I have a PowerWah Boost that I found for 75$ in 1997. Saw Cliff playing a big giant chrome wah and I thought, hey what the heck...Didn't think too much of it at the time. Fastforward to now and I realize this thing has been with me on every single recording session, every show since I got it. I changed the light 3 times, I've reshaped the cardboard parts inside, True bypassed it, and put a great big radio knob on the left so I can use my foot with it. It is my secret weapon and it changed me:)

Very nice. Another cool wah/fuzz pedal was the ROLAND AD-50 DOUBLE BEAT FUZZ/WAH PEDAL or the AF Bee Gee.
