W.Terry Fox has been expressing himself through lyrics since the sixties. As a singer/songwriter poet, he first came to prominence with the cult sixties R'n'B band 'The Cops n Robbers', who were signed to Decca. Terry's songs were recorded by 'The Artwoods' and 'The Pretty Things'. In 2008 he became poet laureat for Cheshire and served the county for 2 years, the longest tenure in the post. His music career has also blossomed with his folk beat band 'StringFing', with Adam Fenn (mandolin) and Emily Telwright (cello).
