@Daphdidwhat303 Not exactly. It may seem that they do -discrimination still exists of course in Brazil. Phenotypes are always acknowledged in all societies, however it's crucial to look at the development of nationality within nations. What does it mean to be American? Brazilian? How is nationality influenced by shared culture vs shared language vs shared phenotypes. It's complex of course because people in general relate ethnicity and race to nationality which is not realistic.
