Yes there is good and bad everywhere and the scum from cities and towns spill over into the next town etc.... In my opinion all areas of Greater Manchester should form one large city. Whats the good of one large police force if The different councils have different approaches on dealing with it like Youth clubs etc... Also I must apolgise for some ill comments left from my account, It was probably my brother.

@dannydxl1 had my wallet robbed 3 times there so shit does happen, felt safer when i lived on the whitehill eastate.
But compared to alot of areas in manchester stockport doesn't seem that bad.

I have lived near Adswood and it is over hyped. Trust me i have lived in Harpurhey, Cheetham hill, gorton, moston and areas in Oldham. I didnt find stockport that rough.

Also in regards to Hazel Grove, I feel safe there, suppose its bad compared to Kent where i go to Uni.
Stabbings outside the bamboo, sum guy got the shit kicked out of him outside bar one but these are one off incidents really.
and the vally is looking better now, that row of shops on the corner dont even have their windows smashed anymore.
