  • If you pause at 05:05, I'm pretty sure that's my friend from High School waiting at the train station. She's the one with the trademark black skinny skins and the black country road bag :)

  • Best thing about footscrazy is living in ascot vale.

  • damn been a long time footscray city high school rocked back in the late 90s

  • @mooneepondskid It was great then, I spent a lot of time around the area growing up....and most of importantly, it was still mostly White/Australian during all that time!

  • @pooapples Werribee gangs go down to Footscray? No lol. Werribee would get decked down here. Footscray is central to the Western Suburbs, you gotta pass through to get to the City, or tram to Highpoint, plus Bus stations to all over the west are there. Footscray, Sunshine and closer suburban youth congregate in Footscray. Werribee youth who represent Werribee are def not welcome in Thirty Eleven.

  • @nikbunnymen I was born in Footscray in the early 70's...the Footscray of that time simply doesn't exist anymore. In those days Footscray was a working class, but honest, suburb. You didn't have drugs and the criminal element hanging around the streets and hassling people. Heroin and the recession in the 90's destroyed Footscray. The people who think Footscray is an ok place now have no idea how far it's fallen down since the old days. St Albans has gone the same way.

  • I was born in footscray and lived there for 20 years..great and fond memeories. Can't believe the change it has gone through. This no longer looks like THE footscray I once knew this is an asian suburb!!!!

I'm craving for a donught from the olympic van that was parked out of the station.

I've eating alot of sweets from various places and countries believe me nothing beats those donughts.

  • Ahh Footscray my home, so glad I moved away. I only like to occassionally visit these days.

  • ...Ming Mings in the Mall, the Maribyrnong Town Hall, Footscray Park, the rotunda and park down by McNabb Avenue where all the drunks hang out the panoramic view from atop of the Footscray Market the many African cafes and restaurants and the new Buddhist temple down by the Maribyrnong...
