funny, i think i just had a dream with classical vs jazz. not really sure where your question is coming from. are you expecting me to compose my own music? i've already played a little jazz on youtube and kind have lost interest part way.

No, the composer is Thaddaus Blatt (1793-1856) in the Romantic period. The piece Larghetto was first published in 1828.
