I made this video as an excercise when I took a multimedia course back in 2001, that's ten years ago now. We got to choose between some tunes and some images and I selected this song (which is truly great and inspiring music) and a famous painting by Pablo Picasso called Woman with hat in armchair. http://www.001galerie.com/repro-pablo-picasso-woman-with-seated-armchair-p-75...
The title of the video thus became Picasso Fantasy.
This was my first and so far only experiment with video in an artful way. I remember I stayed up all night at the computer room at school working in Adobe Premiere and trying out some of its special effect filters. Since the music was so good, and the art too, I really got into what psychologists call flow, and by the morning the piece was completed and I was rather exhausted but satisfied, and I got good grades for it.
The technical quality of the images surely is a bit dated by now, but I still want to upload this for your pleasuere, and it is also a tribute to the late and great pianist Esbjörn Svensson of EST, whom I happened to be acquainted with. Of course everybody plays great here and I urge you to get this recording.
