John Brewins started out aged seven as a cathedral chorister in Suffolk.In his teens in the 60's played guitar with the rock group "The Triffids" which led to complete immersion for 20 years in American Folk Blues , playing in Germany with "Have Mercy" returning to England in 1976 to settle in Brighton.Then came a dramatic conversion to Irish Trad in 1988, picking up the irish whistle and flute through the '90's and co-forming Scatter the Mud with Phil and Mahrey Berthoud, their 1998 album received critical acclaim. He has contributed to two albums by Nick Burbridge.
Peter Taylor comes from Lancashire, and hit music at an early age. In his young adult years he spent time in Scotland acquiring a huge store of traditional songs and plying his trade with guitar and Accordion in various affiliations and as a solo performer. His professional experience in Scotland led to TV and Rodio appeareances and now stands him in good stead as a powerful and inspiring performer. Periods spent living in Vietnam and Miltown Malbay, Ireland have added depth and variety to his music.
Tim Cotterell from Worthing West Sussex is a a superbly talented and experienced folk fiddler. He has toured with Martha Tilstone in UK and Australia.
