@andy33202 Yes, the Gradall XL3200 comes from Gradall's "Industrial Machine" product line, which includes machines specifically built for applications like mining and steel mills. This machine was part of an order of about 15 more of these machines used for scooping fallen coal up back onto conveyor belts in Greek coal mines, as well as being used in the application you see in this video.
This looks to be a BWE or a bucket wheel excavator as are commonly used in europe, if not that, then some form of "cross-pit" machine. But I dont believe the Gradall has anything to do with it, looks like they either had an accident and are cleaning up, or they had to make some repairs and they are moving some dirt to get under the machine from the side for better access.
what a bizzare set-up!?! can you tell me about this machine combo please? im guessin the big bit is a semi mobile screener/crusher with loading ramp?? the smaller machine is cleaning dust that falls out the big machine around its tracks. the small machine looks very custom for this task, was it made especially to overcome a design fault?
