Great musician! But no need to walk up to him and tell him, "you are the best accordionist in the world!" because he already knows that he worked very hard to be the most competitive. Over there, the music and art is your friend; not the people themselves so exchanging pleasantries has no place over there, but I consider saying, " vielen danke," in any situation correct manners. It was considered disrespectful on my part to tell the musician how much I appreciated his music. Embarrassing.
