@WeCannabis
Yes it smells a little, but the motor is intended only for outdoor use. Propane is not poisonous IF used indoors and the engine starts more easily on it. It also cant be spilled.

... so you said it takes 50bs of batteries to equal 1lbs of gasoline? Not true. MAYBE true if you're using really shitty SLA batteries, but with modern lipo batteries, a 50:1 ratio is bullshit.

Well consider that the Nissan Leaf batteries weigh over 400 lbs and it's range is 73 miles, the best of any electric car, even crushing the Chevy Volt. The same car would no doubt get 50 mpg or more if it ran on gas. So 1-1/2 gallons of gas to go 75 miles weighs about 9 pounds. 400/9=45. Its close to 50. Have a nice day teabagger.

mine goes 10mph

With the propane engine we could theoretically achieve about 50mph. But that is obviously crazy. We are aiming at around 10mph with the electric model so that it will provide ample torque for steep hill climbing and grass running. This is far more important to an ultralites mobility than high top speeds. Thanks for your interest.
