Unfortunately it looks like we wont be seeing a season 2

Wouldnt mind a revamp though. Kinda like how Kanon 2002 got much better in 2006, since i remember hearing somewhere that angel beats was supposed to have been 24 eps initially, which also explains why the show felt rushed to some. Instead we're getting a visual novel, which has been confirmed by Maeda himself, so that's probably this "season 2" people have been talking about.
