"It's called the 2-way speech-to-speech program".
I have seen a prototype of this system with someone speaking Iraqi arabic and it is able to translate this as well.
Caveat: The grammar is not perfect. The speech recognition is not perfect. This technology is far from perfect.
However, it is better than nothing.
