MrJapch... maybe you were "conditioned" to think they were the same band since they were on different sides of the same cassette you happened to be playing, but ELO and Queen sound nothing alike.

Lol Japach, ELO sound nothing like Queen!!!! Quenn are predictable and .. they are unique aswell but ELO are more unique in their music ..

The ELO sound is unique since it sampled a spectrum of artistry, classical, pop, blues, disco, etc. and modified it just right to deliver a unique music and lyrical performance. Queen was just Queen and became predictable after awhile. Japch, throw that cassette away and get a CD of ELOs Greatest Hits.

wELL I THINK THE ELO SOUND IS NOT UNIQUE, ITS A GREAT BAND BUT I THINK IT SOUNDS SIMILAR TO QUEEN FOR EXAMPLE WHEN I WAS A CHILD A COUSIN GAVE ME A CASSETTE AND THIS ONE WAS: SIDE A- QUEEN AND SIDE B -ELO. AND DURING ALMOS TWO YEARS I THOUGTH IT WAS THE SAME BAND. LATER I REALIZED I WA S WRONG... (SORRY FOR MY EINGLISH)
