A buddhist pelgrimage to the places of Siddharta Guatama, the Buddha:

Lumbini (Nepal), where Siddharta was born
Bodhgaya (India), where he became the Buddha
Varanasi/Sarnath (India), where he taught his doctrine of the middle-way
Nalanda (India), place to the ruins of the ancient Buddhist university complex
Rajgur (India), where the Buddha taught about emptiness
Kushinagar (India), where the Buddha passed away in Paranirvana

  • Excellent video!! Just to point out, your video description states that Kushinagar is located in Nepal. Buts its actually located in India. Your video has made a note of that correction.

  • @operation12343211 You're right, I corrected it.

  • Shakya Muni Buddha was born in Lumbini Nepal not in India. Please sent false and malified message to the world.

  • @ksherchand , Hi ksherchand, you're right. I just corrected it, thx. But does the place where the Buddha was born, based on the confines of todays political borders matter?

  • SEGUIR EL CAMINO DE BUDA ES SEGUIR EL CAMINO DE UNO MISMO LES DESEO DE MI ES SUFICIENTE CON ESO SEGUIR A SU CORAZON ESE ES E CAMINO BUENA SUERTE AL QUE EMPRENDRTA EL VIAJE A SI MISMO DE MIIIIIIII

  • Shakyamuni Buddha was born in Lumbini in the Kingdom of the Shakyas which lies in the border region of Nepal and India. Lumbini is part of today's Republic of Nepal.

  • Yes matters, Because India I don't say Govt is making a fake Lumbini just to make confusion to the Buddhist World. I believe, Shakyamuni Buddha always sought for truth, peace and harmony. You should be aware that Hindu rulers later followed by Muslims invaders destroyed every thing they could see visibly.

  • Geweldig gedaan! Looks great!!! My compliments.

  • prachtig gemaakt !!! Kei leuk en een prachtige herinnering aan onze reis.
