John Howe the owner of Howee's will be one of the instructors of a placer mining course at the 2010 conference. Alaska Gold Mining is real mining.

@hunter69denys If you are looking for work, with a mine I can not give any leads. All of the good companies I know of have plenty of help at this time. If you are looking at starting a new mine, then you will need to figure 2-5 years before getting a return & an investment of $300K if you are very capable & carefull. Most good large placer mines have more than that invested.
