The Life and Work of Dr. Robert Muller: Unity-and-Diversity World Council Reverend Leland Stewart

Reverend Leland Stewart, with the support of the United Nations, founded the Unity-and-Diversity World Council in 1965—the UN International Year of Cooperation. Stewart is author of the book World Scriptures, a text that incorporates scriptures from a broad range of the world's religions and traditions of spirituality and faith including "new religions" like the Brahma Kumaris. Listen to Stewart share about the life and work of Dr. Robert Muller, Former Assistant Secretary General of the United Nations to three Secretaries General. Muller helped to create 32 of the specialized agencies at the UN including the UN Development Program (UNDP), World Food Program (WFP), and UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Muller has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize more than 20 times—his mission and dream is to bring about a culture of peace on earth, a planetary civilization and global spirituality.
