I fitted a dvd-laser to the CNC.

To avoid burnouts (no coax airfeed) I cut faster and it doesn't cut through on first pass. Later passes makes it all the way through though.
This is 3'rd pass and another piece actually falls out on it's own.
Laser is driven at around 200 mA and cooled to 15c in a 20c room by a TEC element driven by a temp-feedback regulator.

ON/OFF on laser is controlled by EMC2 via paralell port using the spindle clockwise-pin and M3/M5 instructions.
