To his defense the there is always a crosswind at Stephensville, we flew down for BBQ two weeks ago in my Cessna 180 and the wind was directly across runway at 22 knots. A guy in a Cherokee 140 was warning all planes in pattern to watch out for wind, witnesses to the CHerokee said the poor guy almost groundlooped it. Thats what happens when you put dead footed pilots that fly nose wheel planes in a crosswind. The runway is 14 and wind is almost always out of the southwest, you figure it out.
