Harvesting my annual crop of pinto & borlotti beans. I freeze rather than dry them. I reckon It's so much easier to cook them out of the freezer.

  • @Becoming0ne Hi, I'd be more than delighted to send you some, I sent some to Liz in Vic. the same day.She should have them in by now. It's starting to get a little late to plant them as it takes a few weeks longer to grow than sweet corn. If your ever in Buderim you can drop in to pick some up, or I can post some today, if you want to ph. us on 54454602., that would be fine. take care, bye4now.

  • @mugsyjeff Hi Jeff. Thanks for the reply abut the 28 spot lady birds. I've joined up with Diggers (finally lol) and so far I can't see the popcorn corn but I'll research it a little more. Thanks again for your kindness.

  • @selfreliantboy Hi Tubby, thanks for that.cheers mate

  • Very nice Jeff and Wilma !

  • Wow! Brilliant harvest! Well done :)

  • @Becoming0ne Your welcome,it wouldn't be a problem to send some,I bought my seeds about15yrs.ago.&haven't bought any since.Check if they still have them,if not, I've got heaps to share.I've had trouble with the 28 spot lady birds,I squash every 1 I C.Their larvae look nothing like a ladybird, they feed on the under side of the leaf while the adults feed on the top side.I've just planted my last lot of sweet potatoes.I'll be planting potatoes in about late March&beyond.takecarebye:))
