Ellen DeGeneres, Kim Kardashian, Ricky Martin and more celebs tweet their excitement over Prop 8 being overturned.

For two long years celebs have been protesting California's ban on same sex marriages...But on Wednesday Prop 8 was overturned, and Hollywood couldn't tweet their excitement fast enough.

Ellen and her wifie Portia de Rossi chimed in with: "Equality won!"

And "This is an incredibly exciting and historical day and a big step towards equal rights for all."

One of the most recent stars to come out of the closet responded in all caps!
