Roborovski hamsters - BBC 'Wild China'

Here's a short clip from BBC programme 'Wild China', Beyond the Great Wall.
It shows Roborovski hamsters, the smallest and fastest kind of hamsters, in their natural environment. Fascinating to think, appearance wise Robo's haven't changed a bit since they were discovered and bred in captivity over 100 years ago.

I have a robo hamster and tho it's difficult to hold him. I wouldn't trade my hamster for the world! I love every single day that I know I have him as my pet.

I have to agree with Darkshadowside: Why have Robos as pets? They aren't friendly, they run off your hand too fast, and they're too small for most cages and toys. They're fun to watch, but at some point you just want to hold them and kiss their little snouts, and they won't let you dream of it!  Winter whites, on the other hand, are a dream come true compared to Robos. They just sit in your hand and sniff--something you'd never catch a Robo doing.

@Lazyeyeartist no they are not easy to tame. They are a bunch of faggots. A Russian dwarf or winter white can be tamed 100x easier.

One question, are robos easy to tame, I mean compared to a syrian or other dwarf hamster, sorry I'm a syrian expert, but I'd like to get a robo one day when my numbers are back down again...
