All tool makers are around the same in quality, but I do have to admit DeWalt is one bad ass mother fucker.

I've had the same Ryobi cordless 18v hammer/drill for 10 years now. Yes I use it for construction and it still works as good today as it did when it was new. I bought it back when Ryobi batteries were all black, not black and yellow like they are today.

I love my Dewalt tools but all of us have to admit, the battery life, replacement cost, and run-time leaves a lot to be desired..

i actually like ryobi and makita, mainly because ive had my ryobi drill and makita driver has lasted year upon year without the slightest problem. The battery life is just amazing. but milwaukees are just dissapointing ive burnt one out in less than a month....
