Getting the Gas tank sna carb back on the tractor, Over thanksgiving 2009. Part one. This 1939 Allis Chalmers B is still a work in progress.

  • I got the same welder for FREE and it had the recipte and the box with it i was 9 when i got it to. I am 15 now

  • Dang Chuck...... That was a Brilliant idea to weld your nut on that broken piece.... Piece of Cake for sure man... Leaving the oil filter off is no biggie... Ask me how many times I have left the drain plug OUT...?? lol End up with about 5 Quarts on the floor.... Great Video, and yeah, you get 5 Stars...!!

  • my dad got me another carb for my john deere l. its the original carb to a john deere identical to mine. im going to be cleaning it up and im going to make vids of the whole process. it might be helpfull to you! BTW hint hint, get your self some permatex aviation grade form a gasket! the stuff is awsome! i use it when ever im working with old or new gaskets. i get a much better seal and i have had nothing but good luck using it! its worth every penny!

  • you said the carb came in the mail right? i think i figured it out who the hell sent it.

    my model a ford uses the same balljont style. all you have to do to take them up is turn the screw a little more when it starts the wear.
