Def. not an original performance. You guys tried to be like boston but boston's performance was alot better. I think you guys should have done what you guys do best and thats the beats you guys use on New Years it would have represented the NYC Chinese Freemasons and showed that you have your own style. It would have been better, just my opinion. Placed 2nd/3rd but not deserved, but kudos on creating a lion dance tournament in NYC, Great for a first time event!

They are BROTHER clubs, so you will see similiarites in styles

Did you actually expect GLC to participate I mean they straight up GARBAGE. Once they saw who they were facing they all came down with the FLU. Both Hung Ching and Gung Ho did a great job maybe next year we can hold one in Boston.

yes, groups like southern praying mantis and GLC. GLC could not make it last minute, but i think they wouldve done an excellent job. they would not of gotten placed top 3 because like EVERYONE is saying... "IT'S RIGGED". lol... "it's rigged, it's rigged"... thats all i hear. STOP FUCKING WHINING!! but yea... i'm looking forward for next year's tournament. goodluck and train hard.

I wouldnt go blatantly admitting it was fixed now. But having a Lion Dance competition in nyc was long over due. Its a shame not more of the traditional groups in nyc didnt participate.
