A higher charisma increases the chances of success for an officer that's either employing or negotiating with other countries.

The game explains that intelligence helps when executing strategies although it's not clear what it means specifically by that. Im guessing that it increases the likelihood that fire attacks and other combat maneuvers will succeed.

@SaiKCL what does chr and int do exactly? game tutorial doesn't tell you what they affect, like arson and recruiting. how do you recruit officers? i always fail even with 1k gold, i can only recruit with my sovereign meeting personally, even if free officers have mediocre stats. do you know why?

@chidori406 come on now how do you not know that? CHR= charisma, INT=intelligence. And checking it, search -> all officers. -.- Come on this is why its hard, because you guys don't even know the basics...

@chidori406 Well obviously it is easier to play as Dong Zhuo because he has a mass army. But in the mission, Cao Cao has all the skilled officers, like chen gong. I like to play Liu Bei in Zhuge Liang Rises because its the hardest. Dont play liu bei on that one because its really hard. Heres a tip, dont use the diplomacy tool, because its a waste of gold. And also use the weather as ur advantage. Like attack the guy with reduced troops. Easy leaders to play with are the ones with high CHR, INT.
