i was considering purchasing a mantis kerambit, but i see what you mean about those sharp 90 degree angles... hopefully mantis will start chamfering those edges in the future.

It's a karambit, made for self defense. It won't be cutting hard things, it will be cutting clothes and flesh. And put your index finger in the hole. If you're looking for a comfortable, self defense knife, look at the cold steel spartan.
