@AbuAvital Listen, stop exaggerating the recantation. He said two things...the first is that Israel did not target civilians as a matter of policy and secondly, that had he known what he knows now it would have been a different report, which goes without saying since Israel refused to cooperate or participate in any way with the investigation. Furthermore, the other 3 co-authors of the report stand firmly behind the original version and question his motives for the "partial" recantation. Got It?

Goldstone has now admited that he got it wrong, so Gold was right all along, but of course those who want to condem Isreal won't be swayed by facts than run counter to their opinions.

Israel has been successful at stopping nearly 95% of attacks (especially after building the separation fence). That means that those groups, which have already killed well over a thousand, could have killed 20-30X as many had Israel not been so successful.

That's not the point. Hezbollah have UAVs, advanced anti-aircraft missiles, a tunnel network that withstood the US's most powerful bunker busters, they hold out in even in v small terrain. Doubt Vietnamese groups that well prepared.
