Intimate, sensitive, beautifully rendered, a great testament to John Condon and all the young men tragically lost in "The Great War," whose deaths only show that wars are great only in terms of volume of lives sacrificed and in no other sense. Flossie Malavialle is an artist of exquisite talent.

I agree with MrBrentford100. Mary Dillon's version is quite breathy ("head-singing" rather than "body-singing"?) and consequently there's not much emotion in it. This version of Flossie's carries a lot more emotion, IMO. Love it.

This is a wonderful version, I think its better than Mary Dillon,s version.
Shame John Condon wasn't really 14 though as proved by the 1911 irish Census.
