Its actually neither, in my opinion. The song does not say a lot about him either except that he was war minister, old and ultrareactionary and that they got him and executed him only to face the reactionary response of the state.

Honestly I don't know that much about this part of our history either.

Pardon my English.

I know some about the European Revolutions of 1848 but not of this incident. Wickepida German translation only offers the same facts I gather from the video. Is this song/video pro-Latour or anti-Latour?

If someone would explain in English I would be most grateful. I love history, especially that which I have yet to learn.
