Imagine if M. Night Shyamalan did a remake of this...Scary.

When I first saw this movie, I thought Barbara was very good in it, It was strange not seeing her as Jeannie. I grew up watching Jeannie and that's who she'll be to me for the rest of my life.

I just remember the ending.
She has a determined look on her face as she walks through the forest with her baby in her arms. We then see other women holding their newborn babies, also going towards the same destination

I loved this movie as a kid. So disturbing. Cool.

This movie haunted me as a kid. I would think how sad & scared "Jeannie" looked and that "Major Nelson" was nowhere around to help her. Then the next morning she was okay and laughing and blinking and popping in and out of her bottle. Funny how things look to a child .

It just came out in October on DVD!

You're thinking of "A Howling in the Woods." Excellent movie, but not nearly as good as "Stranger Within."

@TimelordR No he would just rip it off and add some twist like she was just a mermaid living in a gated isolated community away from modern civilization who had special powers and saw dead people.
