I know an easier way.

Find one near your home nest, spit it, then bring it to your nest. From there, the epic will not move (Same as video) Then your pack will help you fight it. FYI: Lvl 20 attack stats will make the epic lose health allot faster. +, the epic will not attack (Shouldn't, anyway xD)

a great way to kill an epic is to try to find another epic let them fight then kill the weakened epic that survived :D

I just bought Spore last night and I downloaded a bunch of awesome pokemon content on the game's content user list. And the first Epic I ran into in this game... Was Charmeleon! I was like ":U" when I saw it.
