about the hostage taking, you were in a bad part of town, Honduras is not dangerous, I grew up in Washington DC, now that's dangerous, you had to be sticking your nose into a bad neighborhood which usually happens to people who are looking for drugs or prostitutes. so shut your face about Honduras being violent, you pussy

I was taken a hostage in Honduras for some cash I had on me.
A horrible experience. They tied me up for 5 days in a remote part of La Ceiba, beat me bleeding, terrorized me with machete and a machine gun just over some cash. They wanted me to get more money sent from the U.S. to them. I was lucky the money did not arrive fast enough and I had a chance to escape.
They generally kill their hostage once their demands are met.
Honduras is a VERY violent place to visit!
