  • the war has just begun.... We will not surrender the whales to anyone

  • Protests are o.k but attacking crews with acid ? How can anyone support that ? The possibility of inflicting bodily harm on people who simply don't agree with their beliefs and interpretations of international law is unacceptable. That is militant vigilantism.

  • We talk about rotten butter. Butric acid is not very harmful. But when armed forced use flash grenades I cannot accept that. The Slaughter of the whales in the antarctic whale santuary is ilegal. An australien court order said that is ilegal too. The japanes whalers defy against CITES ... and so on.... And if rotten butter is needed to stop that, for me its ok.

Contact with skin may cause burns; chemical is readily absorbed through the skin and may cause damage by this route." - Cameo Chemicals, chemical data sheet for Butyric acid.

  • QUESTI GIAPPONESI DEL CAZZO

    SI DOVREBBERO VERGOGNARE

  • @Smallpoxproductions It is possible to place a camera on a ship and make it appear that that ship is trying to avoid being rammed, whilst purposely ramming the other ship, sideways.

The coast guard was placing itself in-between the sealers and Farley Mowat, who were instructed to keep their distance in accordance to the law. The witnesses concurred.

An interception and an intentional ram are to different procedures, the later not being a standard practice in the CCG.

  • @canucktunes They faked the camera? WTF!?! Please explain that and give some proof!

  • @Smallpoxproductions Yes. I've heard Sea Shepherd's account. But unfortunately for them I watched the video and came to the conclusion the court has. Their forward momentum was the giveaway, regardless of the maneuver they faked for the camera.

Furthermore, where is your condemnation of the ramming Sea Shepherd admit to doing with graphics on their ships ? How about the bombing and sinking of ships Paul Watson and his terrorist friends and openly took credit for and were convicted of ?

  • @canucktunes If you were to watch the video you see they are turning to starboard and were hit by the coast guard ship on there port side. they were turning away from the coast guard ship when hit. also since SS was moving forward why didn't the coast guard ship turn to port and move away from SS after the first collision avoiding a second? Well i'll tell you why because the coast guard was intentionally colliding with them.

  • @Smallpoxproductions Ahem. I watched the videos as soon as they were published on Youtube. The crew may pretend that they were rammed but they were not. They were clearly seen moving forward when they were intercepted, not moving back. And the court agreed.

But of course Sea Shepherd will never admit their wrongdoing. They think everything is justified by their "cause" and they disregard laws at will.

  • @canucktunes Oh they rammed the coast guard vessel. You should see the video it's pretty clear they did not ram the coast guard the coast guard rammed them, watch the video.

  • @Smallpoxproductions That's the yarn they're selling to their fans. In reality the were convicted of the crimes they were accused of, with hard evidence in regards to their position in Canadian waters.

They purposely harassed and endangered the life of sealer, whom they have reduced to evil characters just so they can justify their actions.

THEY rammed the coast guard vessel after being intercepted. And if they had behaved before they would have had an observer's license, like EVERYONE else.

  • @canucktunes It was taken wrongly in canada they weren't being violent just taking pictures of seals being slaughtered it was rammed and potentially damaged by the canadian coast guard and taken from them in international waters they broke no law and had right of passage in international waters.

  • @Smallpoxproductions Of course you think nobody has ever been harmed by it. Sea Shepherd either never acknowledges the harm or dismisses it entirely.

Oh, I know the Ady Gil incident quite well. I am not impressed by the provocative actions of a group that was recognized as eco-terrorists by the FBI in congressional testimony taken on Feb 12th, 2002, whose Farley Mowat ship was impounded in Canada, where two of its crew members were convicted of several crimes.
