The 3rd European Hapkido Championship hosted by Duk Moo Academy endorsed by the Korea Hapkdio Federation, was held in March 2007 at Newcastle University, England. Grandmaster Kim Duk-in (teaching in Korea), Grandmaster Park Song-ill (teaching in Panama) and Grandmaster Shin Yang-gi (teaching in Argentina) all attended. This event helped the progression and international understanding of Hapkido as well as allowing the Grandmasters to organise many matters. Competitors and spectators arrived from all over the world to watch including news coverage.
