Check out this awesome hack for Megaman 2, it's called Wily's Conquest. It features totally new levels, new enemies alongside some tweaks like speed, energy bar and more.

Overall this hacks worth getting, there's some problems with it though which get demonstrated in the video. Take the battle with Flashman for example, it only uses 1 door for entrance into the battle and the 2nd door is hidden all the way to the right. Go close to it and you'll glitch to a room with nothing in it.

  • I think it looks very good overall. It has it's own story and all new stages which look pretty interesting. That Flashman boss fight did look like crap though. That was a horrible glitch.

  • It's not a bad hack, it just looks... average. Nothing special about it besides the layout of the levels.

And where were these "new enemies" you were talking about? All I saw was enemies from the original game with new sprites. I thought by new you meant their attack patterns were different in some way (like Sniper Joes shooting upward-arcing shots in Rocman no Constancy).

  • BrentalFloss MEGA MEGA MEGA MAN He's Up On The Effin Roof!

  • A for effort, there 's alot of work behind this, but come on...the level design is terrible. And I don't just mean visually, I mean the way enemies are placed. And why does every rom hacker feel the need to replace every sprite with something either very similar to or uglier than the original?

  • theres a hack by b hornet aka vagla thats called megaman dr wilys conquest

  • I've played this hack, it doesn't look that bad but the creator took anyway any uniqueness to the levels. For example, Flash Man's stage had no slippery floors, conveyor belts for Metal Man, and though Bubble Man's stage had water, no precarious jumps involving spikes. I do like how each level looks like a segment in Wily's Tower though.

  • you don't think what? but can you reccomend an easy one?

  • Get a rom editor or something music i dont think so..

  • ok, question, i want to hack my own megaman game and put my own music in it, how do i do it?
