this is my improv. i know i repeat myself a lot and i admit i suck at improv but i liked it and it just felt good. i want to know what everyone thinks, so please give me some advice

you're very good. you have technique, and definitely passion, and that's the biggest thing a dancer needs. and your improv isn't bad, just feel the music and do whatever your body tells you to. listen to your heart, because that's where your dancing comes from. and everyone bashing this video needs to be quiet, because you're good! i loved this dance and i hope you grow even more (:

I think for a beginner, you're not bad.

sure, work is needed but don't give up. I've made that mistake already and it's not good when you return wanting to be as good as you were to find you're no where near it anymore. Though keep telling yourself you can do it and practice makes perfect, That's exactly what I'm doing :)

@ch33r4life101 HAVE YOU EVER TAKEN A DANCE CLASS BEFORE! She did 4 PERFECT turns in second and then did a double. so back off, you don't know what you are talking about. at a pas-de-chat tor. so i think it was pretty and yes a little repetitive but it made me smile :) keep dancing.

You could be a great improv dancer, at 0:18 you need some control to whip that leg around, still looking nice. And point your feet! Makes things look 100 times better.

I love how in part of it, you lose yourself and just dance; do that throughout the whole dance. Don't worry about how you look. Do what you feel in the music. That's when your best choreo will show! Work on your tech - you can do the turns and kicks, now point your toes and straighten your legs! Keep working girl :)

I like your movements. For that to be improv, you did a pretty good job. I would like to see you move around a little more. Use all the space you have, that makes your improv so much better. It does for, so it should for you.

for an improv this is reallly good, your an amazing dancer keep it up. i cant really inprov either and your right it is just really fun, and to see what you can come up with off of the top of your head. and just feel the music let it play inside your body and do what your bpdy tells you too like nsnlove7 said listen to your heart, its the key to your dancing and good passion too

i say listen to the song at least once before you start, and when you listen picture in your mind you dancing and what you would do. that way when you do improvise it, you have a basic idea of what to do. it was pretty good though and i agree with @nsnlove7 about the technique and passion

Improv is not easy. Everyone starts somewhere. And for a beginner, you did an awesome job! =) Very good. Keep working. Things come to those who try. I promise.

not bad for a begginer. haha dont worry improv isnt my strong point either just remember not to think, just dance. never think when your dancing just feel it :)
