  • the people are not Yoruba. What happened was Yoruba Culture was spread to different places during the diaspora. I believe these people are part of an Afro-Cuban dance group. I myself have been exposed to Yoruba culture, in my native trinidad where Yoruba culture is very strong. Yorube Culture can be witnessed today in Brazil, the carribbean,the United states,various south american countries,germany, and of course nigeria. Hope I was of service, Oludare Akinola
