Remember your first kiss?
Sorry if this episode is a bit slow. I've been sick :(

If you saw me on stickam on May/12th you'll probably recognize the painting. I was lucky to had this painting pretty much done on Monday other than that there wouldn't be an episode :P

  • The way the blue and white acrylics mix together in the window is beautiful! I love your idea of using a spiral to represent death which a bunch of universal things like the heart for love to represent the person's life going into the spiral with them. The metaphor is simple but elegant.

  • when i was in preschool, one of the other kids told me that everyone dies. i cried all day.

  • it was along time ago, no need to be sorry.

  • wow im sorry to here that

  • Sorry to hear this ttakdliw

  • Well... I guess this is a good place to put this,.. Chopper died back in March.

  • Death is one of those things people will never fully understand and really want to. My first death experience I was 4 when my grandmother passed and not long after when I was 9, my mother. Amazing painting.

  • Are you wearing a chocolate heart? Looks yummy!!

  • Haha, nice ring tone you have.

Yes, death is everything you said. That painting looks almost 3D... But my first death experience - I think I was too young to understand it at all.

  • I first experienced the effects of death when I was about six or seven, my mom's grandfather died, and people always cried. I never really knew him, but when people talk about him, they always look sad.

Since then, a couple other family members have died, as well, ones closer to my heart than my Great Grandfather, and it always feels unhappy for awhile. But then we feel as though they have gone to a better place.
