This amazing, multi level, haunted attraction opened in the summer of 2010 at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Sally Corporation fabricated the animatronics and interactive props for this incredible R&R Creative designed dark ride. Special thanks go to R&R Creative for use of their on-site footage (and spectacular designs)!

  • with some help with a couple of partners your creations can be really awesome and fun (this is scary but unlike other places this is kind of kooky i like that :-))

  • @smartguest Thanks! We like kooky, too...and scary! Wait'll you see our new "Scream in the Dark!" dark ride. The scare factor is taken up a few notches on that one...should have one open next year! -Sally

  • wow i like the king hes amazing yet scary at the same time :)

  • not too bad with some of the special effects!

  • @canelaymorusa santa cruz cali

  • @snowglobe82 prob recycled from the cave train ride.

  • they be lauching, until they don't waijegjegeogkeg

  • @smartguest That sounds sad.

  • @angeloflifelight it was a ride in an amusement park called Kings Island in Mason, Ohio, but it was later changed (as in almost everything removed and replaced with Sally Corp brand Cardboard Cutouts to become Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle) then Sally Corp later added some much needed animatronics and CGI bits to the ride and replacing Scooby Doo characters with generic ones that they thought up to turn it into Boo Blasters on Boo Hill.

  • Far from Disney quality, but it seems to be much better than a very large majority of other "Haunted" darkrides at boardwalks and some stand-alone parks.

  • @smartguest Awesome. Were was Phantom Theater?

  • @smartguest Very interesting, thanks for the info.
