I miss her voice, yet her true voice was to help make others aware of the pain and suffering that so many of us have and do endure, I am thankful for the gifts she gave us. The video was clear that we as a society place too much importance on appearance. Ladies love yourself period!

that revised version on 1:17 scared the holy crap out of me (no offense)

I'm 14 and I think I'm developing anorexia...I'm at home right now with a low blood pressure, the school nurse sent me home because I piled my breakfast. Almost everyone in my family is asking me if I'm on a diet (I said yes) and they told me to keep going because its working...

I liked the entire thing except one thing. I don't think background pictures of Arlington Cemetery are really appropriate. I think there are better cemetery pictures to represent your cause than military tombstones. Other than that, great job :)

Yo no sé muy bien lo que pone porque el inglés no lo entiendo muy bien, pero me gustó el video, creo que algo largo, pero el cambio de música es bueno. El mensaje creo que es el adecuado para las personas que tienen desorden alimenticio. Saludos.

There is a big problem with so-called 'celebrities' They mirror the mind-numbing, obsurd and pretentious world of the fashion industry. They often wear the latest fashions that are modelled by clearly malnourished, wafer-thin models. We have to start looking at the people responsible for promoting 'size zero' as a desirable concept. It is not.
Ladies, I know you all want to look your best and be beautiful. Eating little is not the answer.

Yes, I'm probably too harsh and rough around the edges. I was going to put that, but I wanted this not to be an inspirational video but a motivation video. The ending is very subtle and not nice. It is saying, "Don't let yourself get too frail to fight." Is that wrong?

Thanks! The point was Helga Brathen was near Karen's age and although not in the spotlight anymore like Karen, her anorexia still plagued her.

I liked this clip. It worked well and was very factual. Although i never knew that Japan was also had the highest death rates towards he death of eating disords alsong with the USA. Can i ask you where you that fact from?

Thanks for your comments! Eating disorders in Japan ballooned 10-fold between 1980 and 1998. It is now in second place with the USA in total numbers, but death rate by capita is twice that of USA. See NationMaster dot com.
