I Just watched ARGO for the frst time..............BORING!!!!!!­!!! Seriously, is this motivated by current politics or what?? The movie is a complete non-runner. "I was on the side of my seat",- I heard someone quoted as saying!! Are you Joking? What waste of time. Ben, what were those tears for? Let me guess, you couldn't believe anyone watched this piece of shit, let alone gave it an Award??????????? Yet another sad day for cinema. YOU OWE ME $5.00 Afleck.

I've never liked the idea that just one movie can be the most outstanding of the year. I mean, that would be like an insult to Hollywood filmmakers. It will be better to have, maybe, 3 best pictures chosen from, say, 7 nominees. The other categories can be done this way, too, because it's so rare that 1 movie, 1 performance, 1 screenplay, etc., alone is the stand out for the year. I don't even think there was ever any such movie, performance, screenplay, etc.

I thought this was a weak year for movies, because neither of these two are extraordinarily good.  They're both excellent movies, but probably won't make it to a list of best movies of all time.
