Join a Playgroup!

Playgroup is an informal session where mums, dads, grandparents, care givers, children and babies meet together in a relaxed environment. They are community based, parent run, and usually held weekly. ACT Playgroups Association is a non-profit Association which administers and supports playgroups across ACT and some surrounding NSW areas. They connect families with playgroups in their area, and provide assistance for those wanting to start their own playgroup. For a low annual fee Playgroup Association members benefit from regular magazines and publications; comprehensive insurance cover for all playgroup activities; free Australian Baby Card; access to the Associations development and support staff; toy library and other resources (for a small fee); as well as events for playgroup members.
